Panadol Extend is a unique bi-layered tablet that includes an immediate-release dose as well as a sustained-release dose of paracetamol.

Paracetamol is released in two phases, with the first phase being released rapidly, for a rapid onset of action, while the second phase is released slowly during the day or night, to provide the potential for prolonged pain relief.

How to use Panadol Extend

For oral use only, by:

• Adults, including the elderly and children aged 12 years and over, take 2 tablets three times daily, every 6 to 8 hours, as required.
• But a maximum of about 6 tablets are taken in a 24-hour period.
• The maximum daily dose of 4000 mg should not exceed the specified dose. It should not be used with other products containing paracetamol.
• It can also be taken with or without food

Indications for using the XTEND pendulum

Panadol Extend 665 mg 24 tablets should be used with caution and under the supervision of a doctor in the following cases:

• Kidney disease.
• Liver diseases.
• In alcoholism, that is, if the patient drinks more than about 3 drinks a day.
• Suffering from low weight or malnutrition.
• Suffering from diarrhea, or having a deficiency of the G6PD enzyme.
